What is Manitoba’s Access to Justice Hub?
Manitoba’s Access to Justice Hub represents a commitment to building a coherent, collaborative, and coordinated approach to addressing the justice system. An extension of the Director of Access to Justice and Community Engagement’s office at the University of Manitoba’s Faculty of Law, this platform is a central location for existing participants in the A2J network to connect to their community.
A Collaborative Space
Access to justice remains a complex challenge, but meaningful progress is being made by many dedicated individuals and organizations across Manitoba. Each plays a distinct role in addressing gaps and improving the legal system. At the Access to Justice Hub, we believe that true impact comes through collaboration—by working together, not in isolation. Our goal is not to duplicate efforts, but to connect them. We aim to serve as a central point of coordination across the A2J community, helping participants share knowledge, align their work, and build on each other’s strengths. Through stronger connections and a shared commitment to collaboration, we can more effectively support Manitobans and move toward a more accessible, inclusive justice system for all.
Our Philosophy
Welcome to Manitoba Access to Justice—a platform designed to support allyship, foster connection, and highlight the many organizations advancing access to justice across the province. As a central hub, we offer updates through our newsletter, insights on key issues in our blog, and details on Access to Justice Week. Whether you’re a legal professional, community member, or student, we invite you to explore, connect, and collaborate. Together, we can build a more inclusive and effective legal system for all Manitobans.
